Silver Rose continues through Iowa

Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Davenport will have their events on Thursday July 8 at Our Lady of Victory as part of the normal Holy Hour from 7 - 8 PM, and Friday, July 9 at St Anthony's from 6:00 - 6:30 PM just before 6:30 Mass.

Dubuque will have an event on either Saturday, July 10, or Sunday, July 11. Sunday July 11 it will be transferred to the Wisconsin Jurisdiction as it travels to Mexico by year end.

A rosary service and an honor guard will hand off to the Wisconsin delegation.
