New Exemplification Tips

Posted for our Ceremonial Director Jason Follet

"As you know, I am posting on the Iowa KofC website calendar details on where the new exemplification is being held across our great state when I receive this information. If your Council has a new Brother Knight who will be traveling to another Council to join the Order, here are a few simple reminders and tips:

1. Never let the new Brother Knight go to the exemplification by himself. You should be there. Give him your support. Let him know that you want him to be a part of our great Order.

2. Form 100 is still being used for new Brother Knights. An alternative is to use the website https://www.kofc.org/secure/en/join/join-the-knights.html. This is faster and more accurate with regards to the information than a Form 100. Once processed, you would then see them in Membership Management to transfer into your Council.

3. The host Council needs you to provide an RSVP. Make sure you reach out to the Grand Knight, Financial Secretary, and/or other point of contact listed on the website calendar.

4. Please bring a KofC Rosary and lapel pin for each new Brother Knight.

By following these simple reminders and tips, our new Brother Knight will truly feel welcomed to our Order.

Vivat Jesus & God Bless America!"
