Work has slowed down at the statehouse while the House and Senate have failed to come to an agreement on several issues. If you haven’t already, now’s the time to contact your legislators on several topics of concern:


Support Students First scholarships/Education Savings Accounts – financial help for some parents to send their children to nonpublic schools

Support the Iowa MOMS bill – services for pregnant women and mothers



The Iowa Catholic Conference was a part of the 9th annual Iowa Religious Freedom Day last week. Several speakers discussed why religious freedom was important to them and their families.
