Celebrating Mary's Meals

Here are pictures from a West Des Moines reception for Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, the founder of Mary's Meals. He took the opportunity to thank the members of Council 12422 for their support of Mary's Meals. He is holding the sign on the left and is pictured with Knights of Columbus from the St. Francis Council who attended the reception.

Knights from the West Des Moines St. Francis of Assisi Council, Des Moines Holy Trinity Council, and West Des Moines Sacred Heart Council were recognized with a State Service Award at the 2022 KC State Convention for their efforts in support of Mary's Meals. A school in Africa will be named in honor of Blessed Michael McGivney in gratitude for the efforts of the Knights from these councils.
