The Iowa Knights of Columbus State Spelling Bee was held in Ames on Sunday March 8. Council 2230 hosted 55 students from grades 4-7 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. To qualify for the state competition, the students had to finish first or second at both their local spelling bee and their regional spelling bee.
