Onawa-Blencoe Knights and Parishioners show off Gardening Skills

Parishioners of St. John Catholic Church in Onawa are practice their gardening skills to beautify the flower beds around the church. Some of the volunteers include Annette and Vance Linden, Amy and Larry Christensen, Doug & Pauline Zima, Randy and Jeanne Bottorff.

In the above photo, Amy Christensen installs liner to prepare the ground for mulch around the rose bushes that frame the Ten Commandments monument on the north side of the church. The monument was installed and dedicated by the Onawa-Blencoe Knights of Columbus in 2012.
