Sir Knights and Assembly Leaders:
This is your notice of the Iowa District Biannual Meeting to be held on the afternoon of Friday April 29th 2022 at Coralville Iowa immediately following the 4th Degree exemplification that afternoon.
A Delegate Credential form is attached for your convenience. Delegates should be selected and the form returned to the District Secretary by April 17th.
Reminder: it is appropriate to submit resolutions for consideration. All resolutions are due to the District Secretary Postmarked by April 14th to give sufficient time for analysis and compilation for presentation to the delegates at the meeting.
Please find attached a reminder from the Supreme Council on the nature of resolutions. Although directed at council leadership its intent and spirit applies substantially to assemblies as well. please ensure any resolutions forwarded from your assembly conform. Additionally attached is a sample proposed resolution asking for consideration of open 4th Degree exemplifications. Please read the sample resolution for reasons supporting this position. I ask that you present this to your assembly for consideration.
As you consider other assembly business, I remind you that our efforts to underwrite tuition for military scholarships is ongoing. Please distribute the attached to your members and ask they consider this worthy effort to provide spiritual assistance to our men and women in uniform.
The Bishop's Communication Fund contribution form is attached for consideration. These funds are divided equally among the four dioceses of Iowa and presented to the Bishops to be used for Catholic Communication efforts. I also ask for your consideration of the Master's Fund so that expenses related to exemplifications are adequately covered.

There are several forms attached that may assist you if you did not already submit. Be sure to open the 2022 Bishop-Masters Form and try to get submitted with the other forms.
