Council Level
Request a Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest kit by calling
the Department of Fraternal Services at (203) 772-2130 ext. 270.
Each council will judge their entries according to the rules found in the kit. A winning
entry for each topic and age group, with the accompanying entry forms, should be sent to
the district deputy. Entries must be received by the District Deputy by November 1.
District Level
The District Deputy will coordinate a small group of judges to determine district level winners in each age group and for each topic. Judges might include Knights, Squires, teachers, or law enforcement officials. Winning posters and their entry forms must be received by the StateYouth Director by November 30th.
State Level
The State Youth Director will coordinate a group of judges to determine state level winners. State level winners in each age group and for each category
will be sent to the Supreme Council for entry in the international competition by March 3 1. International winners will be announced May 15.
