Free Throw Contest Rule Change
Several comments were sent into Supreme on our Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest regarding the
size of basketball that the rules state that the contestants must use and their age requirement.
All local, District, Regional, and State levels of the Free Throw Rules are as follows:
- Contestants still can not use their own basketballs for competition.
- Follow the rules from the Official Guide of The Knights of Columbus.
- Once the scoring starts, the contestant can not change the size of the basketball.
- **SPECIAL NOTE** Age requirement has not changed. The eligibility is to be determined by the age of the contestant as of January 1st. This rule is strictly enforced.
- All contest levels will start at 1:00 p.m. with warm-ups starting at 12:30 p.m.
DON'T FORGET TO SEND IN YOUR REPORT FORMS AFTER THE CONTEST TO SUPREME AND ALSO TO THE STATE YOUTH DIRECTOR
