Free Throw Levels...


Council Level

  • Send a request for for Free Throw Kit, out of Council Report Forms Booklet FROM SUPREME.
  • Set date, time, location, and the Council that will run the event. Have a contact person.
  • SUPPLY AWARDS for the EVENT.
  • Announce where the District Level will be held, date and time.
  • Hand out an information sheet with district level information and emergency contact phone numbers parents can call with questions and conflicts.

District Level

  • District Deputy selects site for district competition in his area - this is his responsibility. Should have date, time and location at your December/January District meeting so you can pass on the information to your councils.
  • District Deputy has to order the District Medals from Supreme at no charge. The State Youth Director does not have these.
  • The District Deputy or District Warden runs the event with the help of the Council.
  • Announce the Regional location, date, time and place.

Regional Level

  • The State Youth Director selects the date, time, and site location with approval from the State Program Director and State Deputy.
    • State supplies all the Awards for the Regional Winners.
    • Announces where the state location will be held.
    • District Deputy should be there to help the council run the event.

State Level

  • The State Youth Director selects the date, time, and site location with approval from the State Program Director and State Deputy.
    • State supplies all the Awards for the State Winners.
    • The Youth Director is in charge of the state competition along with the council and District Deputy helping to run the event.

NOTE: SUPREME SETS ALL THE RULES ON AGE, AND THE SIZE OF BALL TO BE USED. THE STATE HAS NO CONTROL OVER THESE SUPREME RULES, AND THEREFORE, CANNOT CHANGE THEM.
