State Spelling Bee Winners - 2010
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee.
Following are the final results from the 2010 Iowa Knights of Columbus State Spelling Bee.
Below are links to pictures of the top three finishers from each grade.
The competition was held at 1pm on Sunday, March 7th, at St. Cecilia School in Ames, Iowa.
To qualify for the State Spelling Bee, each of these students finished in first or second
place in their local spelling bee and in first or second place in one of seven regional
spelling bees in Iowa.
Each of the photos include (left-to-right) State Youth Director John Beckman, 1st place,
2nd place, 3rd place, Ames coordinator Tim Simodynes. The fourth grade photos have the
third place finisher pictured separately from 1st and 2nd.
