Spelling Bee Levels...
Council Level
- Send a request for Spelling Bee Word list, participation forms and winners certificates to State Youth Director.
- Any other trophies or awards are the responsibility of the Council.
- Set date, time, location, and the Council that will run the event. Have a contact person.
- Announce site, date, and time for the Regional Contest.
District Level

There is no district spelling bee level.
Regional Level
- The State Youth Director selects the date, time, and site location with approval from the State Program Director and State Deputy. This level is typically held in March.
- State supplies all the Awards for the Regional Winners.
- Announces where the state location will be held.
- District Deputy should be there to help the council run the event.
State Level
- The State Youth Director selects the date, time, and site location with approval from the State Program Director and State Deputy. This level is typically held in April.
- State supplies all the Awards for the State Winners.
- The Youth Director is in charge of the state competition along with the council and District Deputy helping to run the event.
